Emile Lyns Widdy Hercule has resided in Massachusetts since he came to the US from Haiti in 1986. He holds a few associate degrees from Bunker Hill community colleges, a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a minor in Spanish from the University of Massachusetts Boston. In addition, Mr. Hercule detains a master's degree in organizational and human Behaviors from Kapela University and a master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Hercule remains attached to his native country, Haiti, where he actively engages in social activities to advocate for people with limited mobility and invests in agricultural and animal farming in many departmental geographic areas of the country. Mr. Hercule also supports many youth groups through virtual and presential conferences to promote resiliency and improve coping skills and self-esteem. He sponsors various food distribution programs as well. In addition, Mr. Hercule meets twice weekly with a group of forty-five female adolescents for group therapy and to teach combined Spanish-English classes.
Mr. Hercule works as a fully licensed social worker in Malden, Massachusetts, providing therapeutic services to various populations, including immigrants and minorities in English, French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
